WEEK END 11 E 13 November 12 occasion for each mounth to visit Tuscany along the food & culture learning  food & wine week-end for a small group with accommodation in a magnificient villa of the Chianti countryside          Nov 7th  Saturday  : Arrival in Arezzo and guided visit of the Etruscan city Meet the guide for a half walking tour to discover the Piero della Francesca works. Arezzo: the Etruscan town. A enchanting small towns. We’ll be fascinated from the fusion of different artistic styles. Reaching the heat, and passing the Cathedral which contains fine works of art among which La Maddalena by Piero della Francesca, we’ll arrive in the central Piazza Grande. Its show us all different styles of architecture: the medieval towers, the imposing Renaissance Loggiato Vasariano, the gothic Palazzo delle Fraternita dei Laici, a mixture of Gothic and Renaissance architecture, and the apse of the Pieve di Santa Maria. Here we’ll visit the essence of the renaissance :The Bacci Chapel in the Basilica di San Francesco houses the stunning Renaissance cycle of frescoes of The legend of the True Cross by Piero della Francesca. But before our departure we cannot forget the newly restored Crucifix by Cimabue, in S.Domenico Church . Afternoon  Guided visit of the olive oil mille and guided tasting. Tuscany: A landscape of olives, vines and forest sculpted by man with wisdom and respect. Here, in every small ancient village we feel this atmosphere .An occasion to discover all secret of the “yellow gold” from Tuscany : the olive oil An interesting route passing the natural development of the journey made by the Tuscan man, who since every time has produced the Olive’s Oil with attention and respect for the work of olive tree by cold pressing in a traditional oil press (a crushing press), by careful selection of the olives, by harvesting at the correct time and by filtering only through cotton, toe are able to produce oils which retain all the character of the original fruit At the local mill you will have the chance to taste The Tuscan olive oil, together with a short lesson on the basics, so to learn more about our “yellow gold”. Continuing the excursion we will drive along the roman road of “Cassia Vetus” to reach the village of Loro Ciuffenna to admire the Romanesque church of Gropina and eating the best ice cream of Tuscany . On the return way you will see the “Balze”, the tuscan “canyon” reminded from Leonardo da Vinci. Continuign to your hotel . Arrival the the Historical villa and welcome dinner  ***TYPICAL LUNCH***     Nov  8th Sunday: breakfast . Arrival in Figline Valdarno where in the Medieval square you will visit one of the most famous fair of  Italian Foods : Autmnia .
